For you in the know I think you might know what a spoil board is. For those that don’t it is a throw away piece of mdf that a cnc operator will put down on the vacuum table. They then will gasket the spoil board and pull a vaccuum through that material to hold the parts down. What are some of the other materials you have used for spoil boards?  This article shows spoil board being used as art.
